Description:

Codenames is a fast-paced word association game where two teams compete to identify all their secret agents before their opponents.

Twenty-five word cards are arranged in a grid, but only the two spymasters know which words belong to each team. On each turn, the spymaster gives a one-word clue and a number to help their teammates connect multiple words on the table.

Choose carefully—your guesses could reveal one of your agents, an innocent bystander, or even an agent working for the opposing team. Select the assassin, and your team immediately loses the game!

This refreshed 2025 edition features an improved word list, completely updated artwork, a streamlined rulebook, an eco-friendly card stand, and a redesigned insert to keep everything neatly organised.

How to Play:

• Divide into two teams and choose one spymaster for each side.
• Arrange 25 codename cards in a 5×5 grid.
• Give a one-word clue followed by the number of cards connected to it.
• Discuss the clue and guess which words belong to your team.
• Avoid enemy agents, innocent bystanders, and the assassin.
• Be the first team to identify all your secret agents to win!
