Description:

Azul is a beautifully designed tile-placement game where players compete as skilled artisans decorating the walls of the Royal Palace of Évora.

Each round, select colourful tiles from the shared factory displays and arrange them into pattern lines on your player board. Once a line is complete, move one tile across to your palace wall and score points based on the tiles it connects to.

Careful planning is essential. Taking a large group of tiles may help complete your mosaic, but any tiles you cannot place will fall to the floor and cost you points. Every choice also changes which tiles remain available for your opponents, creating plenty of opportunities to block their plans while advancing your own.

How to Play:

• Select all tiles of one colour from a factory display.
• Move the remaining tiles into the centre of the table.
• Place your chosen tiles into a matching pattern line.
• Transfer completed lines onto your palace wall.
• Score points by creating connected rows and columns.
• Earn bonuses for completed sets while avoiding wasted tiles.

Easy to learn but filled with rewarding strategic decisions, Azul is an excellent choice for families, casual players, and experienced board gamers.
